Prior to founding Monolith Management, Cao Xi had worked at Tencent and joined Sequoia Capital in 2013. He became a partner at Sequoia Capital China Fund and played a pivotal role in establishing the Sequoia China Seed Fund in 2018. Cao Xi has extensive experience in early and growth stage investments, with notable ventures in Kuaishou, Douyu, Super Monkey, Tencent Music, Enhe Biotech, METiS Pharmaceuticals, MetaX Tech, Taichi Graphics, and Houmo Intelligent Technology.

Tim Wang had extensive experience in public equity investments in the technology and consumer sectors as a former partner of Boyu Capital. He possesses an excellent international perspective and is skilled at identifying opportunities through the lens of value investing. Tim Wang was a founding member of Boyu Capital's public equity arm since 2014, and was promoted from analyst to partner within 7 years. Prior to Boyu Capital, Tim was an analyst at Goldman Sachs.
